The Bell Aliant Metro Soccer League will feature over 70 boys and girls all-star teams from minor soccer associations all over the Avalon Peninsula. The rationale behind the creation of the league is to provide a competitive and organized soccer experience for the 1500 players in the U10, U12, U14 and U16 age divisions to improve the overall skill level in youth soccer across the Avalon Peninsula.

The teams participating in the Bell Aliant Metro Soccer League will come from the following soccer associations:

Conception Bay North Soccer Association
Conception Bay South Soccer Association
Goulds Kickers Soccer Association
Mount Pearl Soccer Association
Paradise Youth Soccer Association
Portugal Cove/St. Philips Soccer Association

Torbay Soccer Association

The Bell Aliant Championship Weekend for U12, U14 and U16 will be hosted on September 18th - 20th 2009.
